Program Path 02

Leadership Path

Servant leadership isn't a personality — it's a practice. This path forms leaders through Scripture, mentoring, and real responsibility inside a church family.

What you'll practice.

Character & Formation

Rule of life, spiritual disciplines, and honest mentoring — because leadership begins on the inside.

Teams & Volunteers

Recruit, encourage, and equip the people around you. Learn to run a healthy meeting and hold a healthy plan.

Conflict & Communication

Listening well, having hard conversations, and repairing relationships with grace.

Mission & Context

How to lead in your city — evangelism, cross-cultural sensitivity, and digital presence.

Administration

Scheduling, budgeting basics, communication rhythms, and volunteer coordination that lasts.

Capstone Project

Design and lead a small initiative during your Eugene intensive — a group, an outreach, or a training.

In Eugene

Leadership you can only learn by doing.

Your three-month intensive at New Hope gives you real responsibility — supervised, coached, and celebrated.

  • Sit in on staff planning meetings and observe rhythms up close.
  • Co-lead a small group or ministry team with a mentor's support.
  • Take responsibility for one Sunday element — greeting, tech, or a testimony.
  • Meet weekly with your mentor for feedback, prayer, and honest reflection.
